"What is your favorite day of the week?" It's a question that is thrown around a lot, and I just can't decide on an answer.
Saturdays and Sundays are good. But then so is Friday because it's the last work day and also jeans day (also No-Drama Friday). But Thursdays are pretty good, too, because it's the last dress-up day for the week and anticipation of Friday sets in. Wednesdays are OK because they get you over the hump. Mondays aren't too bad, either, because you're still somewhat rested and de-stressed from the weekend. (TGIM, right? Aug-Sept 07)
That leaves Tuesdays.
What are Tuesdays?
Nothing.
Tuesdays are nothing.
Tuesdays are like being a sophomore.
What are the benefits of being a sophomore? What is unique about being a sophomore? Does anyone know?
No. No one knows. This is why we have sophomore slumps.
With freshmen, everything is new, everything is a learning experience, everything is "the first." Juniors are now upper-classmen, but don't have the stress of trying to figure out what's next. Seniors are seniors, and we all know the benefits there. But sophomores...That's just a survival year.
Tuesdays are like being a sophomore.
Or like being 22.
What's with 22, anyway? 21 is a landmark. At 23 you're IN your 20's. 24 is like being a Junior...you're almost to the landmark 25, but you don't have the "I'm now getting old" thing going on. And 25...Well, 25 is 25. But 22? As a friend in college said, all 22 is, is 2x11.
Tuesdays are like being a sophomore.
Maybe I'll start calling them Sophomore Tuesdays.
Note to Chelley that probably nobody else will really care about...Maybe we should talk about this...Could Sophomore Tuesdays be an idea for a 2nd year program?

My mom sent this to me...
We had staff meeting today. It was on security. Statistics show there are more bank robberies on Tuesdays than any other day of the week. Hmmm.....maybe potential bank robbers get bored since nothing else is going on on Tuesdays? Or maybe they are getting money to use the rest of the week when things are going on? Or maybe they know Tuesdays are slow days so there won't be as many customers in the banks as witnesses then? Or none of the above.
Hmmm, Bank Robber Tuesday... we could be on to something :-). Cute blog, it made me smile.
